<p><span style="font-family: var(--bs-body-font-family); font-size: var(--bs-body-font-size); text-align: var(--bs-body-text-align);"><b>Jakarta, 6 October 2023</b></span><span style="font-family: var(--bs-body-font-family); font-size: var(--bs-body-font-size); font-weight: var(--bs-body-font-weight); text-align: var(--bs-body-text-align);"> – The National Police (Polri) finalized the security preparation for the 1st High-Level Meeting (HLM) of the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum by conducting a tactical floor game (TFG), on Friday, 6 October at the Perkasa Raga Garwita Building, Bali Regional Police Headquarter, Denpasar.</span><br></p><p>The Head of the Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Firman Santyabudi, who led the activity, said that the TFG is essential to strengthen the readiness of the personnel involved in securing the 1st HLM of the AIS Forum scheduled to be held on 10—11 October in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency, Bali.</p><p>“This procedure and mechanism must be performed in a multi-level training. It is a continuation of the previous stage,” said the Head of the Police Traffic Corps.</p><p>Firman hopes that through this activity, the personnel involved can discover new and unexpected issues so they can anticipate them and become more competent and experienced in facing the next level of activities.</p><p>The Head of the Bali Regional Police, Inspector General Ida Bagus Kade Putra Narendra, who was also present at the event stated that the TFG is part of a series of VIP and VVIP security details. It is crucial in a dynamic situation, especially in the movement of members on duty and delegates during the 1st HLM.</p><p>“This Tactical Floor Game aims to identify details on the implementation of the security measures in Ring 1, 2, and 3, which may be moving dynamically. With this initial planning, even if the situation will run dynamically during the 2023 HLM of the AIS Forum, the implementation will not be changed significantly,” said the Bali Regional Police Chief.</p><p>Meanwhile, the Head of Bali Regional Police Public Relations, Police Commissioner Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that given the importance of this TFG activity, the focus and high enthusiasm of all Regional Security Task Force personnel are needed, so that everything can run smoothly as expected.</p><p>“The Bali Regional Police, which is part of the Bali Regional Security Task Force, personnel deployed from the National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri), and nearby police forces are continuously working for the success of the event by constantly coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders in Bali Province in anticipating undesirable circumstances,” said Head of Bali Regional Police Public Relations.</p><p>Thirty-two countries are confirmed to convene at the 1st HLM of the AIS Forum, with five heads of state scheduled to attend in person, including the President of Micronesia, the Prime Minister of Niue, the Prime Minister of São Tomé and Príncipe, the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, and Prime Minister of Tuvalu.</p><p>The 1st HLM carries the theme "Fostering Collaboration, Enabling Innovation for Our Ocean and Our Future” with three subthemes, namely Blue Economy; Our Ocean, Our Future; and Solidarity. Fiji and Tonga will be represented by their deputy prime ministers, while Maldives, Madagascar, Marshall Islands, Palau, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea will send their ministers to the 2023 HLM of the AIS Forum.</p><p>Other countries, such as Cabo Verde and New Zealand are planning to send their Deputy Minister. Meanwhile, Ireland, Japan, Cyprus, Samoa, Malta, the United Kingdom, Saint Lucia, Cook Island, the Philippines, and Suriname will send their ambassadors.</p><p>In addition, the 1st HLM is expecting the participation of four international organizations, namely the Melanesian Spearhead Group, the Pacific Island Forum, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the United Nations Development Program. National Police Conducts Tactical Floor Game to Finalize Security Preparation for the 1ST HLM of the AIS Forum

Jakarta, 6 October 2023 – The National Police (Polri) finalized the security preparation for the 1st High-Level Meeting (HLM) of the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum by conducting a tactical floor game (TFG), on Friday, 6 October at the Perkasa Raga Garwita Building, Bali Regional Police Headquarter, Denpasar.
